Activity
2 - Peer Feedback:
Potential questions for students to respond to:
List something you really liked about the performance.
What is the strongest element?
What was the message you got out of the piece?
Is there anything which could be improved?
Encourage
students to make specific comments which are primarily positive,
or at least constructive. The teacher feedback should be positive,
but also honest in the areas which need to improve. Be specific
in comments. Discourage things like "It was good. I liked
it." What does that really tell a person?
Help them
learn how to give specific feedback like the comments in the
example bellow:
-
your
movement showed confidence
-
your
voice was clear and articulate
-
your
posture reflected your character
-
the
set (prop, costume, etc.) was suitable (creative, imaginative,
beautiful, appropriate, etc.)
-
the
music set a mood of _________
-
the

-
